Heat pumps have been widely used in daily life as energy efficient, environmentally friendly products. But being limited by the compression ratio of compressor and other conditions, common heat pumps can not make high temperature (above 75 ℃) hot water at low temperature (below -15 ℃).
The traditional heat pumps’ energy efficiency significantly decreases and heating capacity also greatly reduces when they work at low ambient temperature. Our design of heat pumps of making high temperature hot water at low ambient temperature increase the total refrigerant compression ratio to more than 1.6 times and reduces the absolute pressure difference between compressor high and low pressure during the process of double compression. Effectively decrease the compressor load, extend compressor life, and make higher temperature hot water at low ambient temperatures than common heat pumps.
At present, the Northern of China is vigorously promoting "Reform Project from Coal to Electricity", heat pump products with their excellent energy efficiency become the first choice to instead of small coal-fired boiler for heating. It needs to use electric heater to make higher temperature hot water which without energy-saving effect. But the hot water not higher than 55 ℃ for heating can only satisfy the use of floor heating system, most existing "Reform Project from Coal to Electricity" is with radiator as terminal device, the low water temperature obviously decreases the radiator effect which is difficult to raise the indoor temperature to solve this problem must raise the hot water temperature higher than 75 ℃.
Our design of heat pumps of making high temperature hot water at low ambient temperature can steadily make hot water above 75 ℃ at outdoor temperature of -15℃, which is more suitable alternative of the coal-fired boilers.
